The Moreland Hills Historical Society is pleased to announce the 2016-2017 Board of Trustees:

This election was precipitated by the desire for prior President, Katie Martin, to retire after nearly 20 years of service to our Historical Society.  In Katie’s time with our society, we saw the building of the James A. Garfield Memorial Cabin and Birth Site Path, a legacy few can lay claim to.  Katie has been a meticulous preservationist and local historian.  We are thankful that Katie gave of her time and energy for so long.  We are much better off today because she cared so much.  Katie will remain with us as an advisor under the heading, “Institutional Memory” and for that we continue to be eternally grateful to her.

It is with great enthusiasm that we enter a new year.  Your participation in our very small organization is welcomed and needed.  We have a Secretary position open.  We also need help with digital media, fundraising, programming, tour guides, and local historians.  No experience required.  Won't you please join us?
