Ordinances & Resolutions


The following Ordinances & Resolutions were passed in March:

Ordinance 2014-20 an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to purchase a 2014 Ford F-350 4×4 from Walt Sweeney Ford through the State of Ohio Department of Administration Services, at a cost to exceed $25,332.06. Equipment for this vehicle will also be purchased separately, at a cost not to exceed $5,490.00. This vehicle is a replacement for the current Service Department 2004 Chevrolet pick-up truck.

Ordinance 2014-21 an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Fioritto Construction, LLC for the Winterberry Lane Watermain Replacement Project, at a cost not to exceed $233,786.00. These costs will be reimbursed by the Cleveland Water Department at the end of the project.

Ordinance 2014-22 an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Wichert Insurance Services for the Village, which includes general liability, police professional, public official, automobile, and property insurance at a total cost of $56,375.00 per year.

Ordinance 2014-23 an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to purchase two (2) 2014 Ford Sedan Interceptor vehicles for the Police Department, from Statewide Ford Lincoln through the State of Ohio Department of Administrative Services, at a cost not to exceed $52,704.00.

Ordinance 2014-24 an appropriations ordinance, which is as monthly financial housekeeping item.
