Chagrin Blvd. Resurfacing Project

9/13/2022
As part of our 2022 Road Program we will be resurfacing Chagrin Boulevard from a starting point just east of Quail Hollow Farms and ending at the Chagrin Falls border.
Chagrin Valley Paving has been awarded the contract and will start the three-phase project on September 13th with an anticipated end date of November 12th of this year. Please see the detour below.
Due to the traffic volume and for safety of the workers, one lane will be closed during construction and a detour route will be set up. During construction, the street will remain open. The traffic heading east bound, from SOM Center Road toward Chagrin Falls, will be able to travel in the normal manner in that direction. This includes Addison Lane residents who will also be limited to eastbound travel when pulling out of Addison Lane.  The westbound traffic heading towards SOM Center Road from Chagrin Falls will be detoured to Miles Road and SOM Center Road.
Please see the attached map showing the detour plan and plan accordingly. The school bus garage has been notified and they will inform you of the changes in the route times.
Please proceed slowly through the construction areas. Trucks and equipment can be pulling in and out of the work zone.
For residents along Chagrin Blvd., the garbage and recyclable collections will continue on the normally scheduled day, but please make sure your cans are out first thing in the morning.
