Road and Drainage Projects

This year, the Village will be resurfacing North and South Strawberry Lanes, along with performing repairs on sections of various roads that have been damaged by the harsh winter. The Service Department started performing some of the asphalt repairs last year, and will continue to do so this year with the equipment purchased for this use. SOM Center Road will be resurfaced by ODOT in 2016.

We have replaced and repaired many road culverts and storm sewers in the Village, spending $1.7 million in 76 locations throughout the Village since the year 2000. We will continue this year with this important program in various areas.

Changing Your Yard by Filling or Grading
If you have a project that includes moving dirt on your property, please contact the Village Engineer during the planning stage. Many times, a permit is required for this type of work, and we would like to assist to make sure that drainage issues are not created by the work you are planning on performing, and to make your project a successful one.
