Diversity & Inclusion Commission and Green Commission Openings
If you are looking for an opportunity to get involved with your local government, please consider applying to be a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Commission or the Green Commission.
Appointed members to Village commissions act in an advisory capacity to make recommendations to the Mayor and Village Council.
The term for the open seat on the Diversity & Inclusion Commission is for 4-years; meetings are monthly, generally on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm. The term for the open Green Commission seat is 1-year; meeting every other month on the first Wednesday at 5:30pm. Both terms will begin in 2024.
To apply, send a letter to Mayor Spencer at espencer@morelandhills.com describing your reasons for wanting to be a part of the commission and relevant experiences that would benefit the commission you are interested in, by December 31, 2023.
