NOPEC

The Village of Moreland Hills is a member of NOPEC’s natural gas and electric aggregation programs.  NOPEC is a non-profit group of over 235 communities that negotiates lower utility rates.  As Ohio’s largest governmental energy aggregator, NOPEC buys gas and electricity in bulk to help lower your utility bills.  Customers can choose from a variety of rate plans including 12- and 24-month fixed term, monthly variable and even 100% renewable products. For more information, go to nopec.org or contact NOPEC’s Customer Care Center at 855-667-3201.

NOPEC, which stands for Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council, is an organization of local governments in Northeast Ohio that work cooperatively to provide a competitive environment for energy cost savings for individual customers; no taxpayer funds are used and members do not pay dues or fees to belong.

NOPEC’s mission is to bring the lowest cost energy that they can to the residents and businesses of Northeast Ohio. They buy natural gas and electricity in bulk to help you save. If you would like more information about NOPEC or to join, visit their website at www.nopec.org or call customer service at 1.866.726.5762.

Just a reminder that we are a NOPEC Community, which provides our residents with the option to use NOPEC as their gas and/or energy supplier.  You always have the option to shop around and “opt out” of NOPEC to use a different supplier.

If you have any questions about NOPEC or issues with your billing, please call NOPEC at 855.667.3201 or visit www.NOPEC.org, as the Village cannot help you with that information.

More NOPEC information can be found on our Village NOPEC page by clicking here.
