Service Dept Reminders

12/26/2018

Reminders from the Service Department…

Drainage -

The Service Department would like to remind residents that during the winter months it is important to keep leaves, branches, and snow piles clear from your drainage swale and driveway pipe to assure for proper drainage of water away from your property and roadways.

Snow Plowing -

The Service Department would also like to remind residents and their plow contractors not to plow snow into or across the roadway as this can cause an accident when a passing car runs into the snow that has been left on the roadway.

Special Pick-Ups

At the start of the new calendar year, each resident is again entitled to one free special pick up and one additional special pick up for a fee of $25.00.  Special pick-ups are done on Mondays (except Holidays); please call the Service Department no later than Friday prior to schedule a pick-up.

Household Hazardous Wastes –

The Service Department CANNOT currently accept any Household Hazardous Wastes.

The County is switching facilities; therefore, we will not have any place to take it until such time that they secure a new facility to dispose of the wastes.  We will let residents know when we can start accepting them again.

Christmas Trees –

Put your Christmas trees out at the curb any day between January 7 and February 8 and the Service Department will be by throughout the weeks to pick them up.
